Featured Volunteer: Sean Lassiter

What do you get when you cross a writer, a veteran and a handyman?  Some may say Kurt Vonnegut, but anyone at our shop would turn directly to Sean Lassiter.

Sean has been a volunteer barista since fall of 2015, making him one of the oldest 'spro slingers this shop has had the pleasure of hosting. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in English Writing and is currently working toward his Master of Professional Writing at OU. In his spare time, he enjoys reading comics like All-Star Batman by Scott Snyder and playing video games such as Dead Cells, The Elder Scrolls and Telltale titles.

When he isn't focused on writing his novel, Sean paints landscapes from various regions of the world that often evoke feelings of adventure and fantasy. His latest piece entitled "One More Squall" is featured in the shop by the red door.

Sean continues to be a tremendous help in the shop; from offering minor fixes to chairs all the way to staining the back cabinets of our bar, he always has a solution to a problem. Ask him about his favorite drink to make when he volunteers every Thursday from 4:30-6:30 or Friday's from 12:30-2:30!
